Bernadette Eden, Health Care assistant
I found the course really interesting and very informative. We had very good tutors. I would highly recommend the course. The work load was good; we got all of the information from our trainers throughout the workshop, which allowed us to go home and continue working confidently.
Suzette Soriano, Team Leader
I found the course very helpful and interesting; I got a lot of information from it. I thought there would be more work involved, but did it was just right. The trainers were good and very organised. My seniors have joined the next course.
Seleena Gopaul, Trainee Manager
I thought the course was good, informative and relevant. It was very in-depth and I learnt a lot of new things such as reality orientation as well as refreshing my knowledge of relevant legislation. I thought it would be like the usual one day training course, but the course was one day per week over a four week period which I liked. The work load was good and the delivery of the course was excellent.
As the number of people suffering from Dementia/Alzheimer’s and other related diseases is on the rise; it is vital that more care staff get a deeper knowledge of the condition for maximum effective care. There are more than 120 known forms of Dementia; this can not be taught in one day.
