Kate Lord, managing Director of QKL has recently completed her PRINCE2 qualification and is now a certified PRINCE2 practitioner! PRINCE2 is the standard project management framework utilised by all major industries within the UK. It offers a comprehensive methodology for project management best practice which is transferable across a wide range of industries.

Kate was thrilled with her results – 81% on the Foundation exam and 79% on the Practitioner. Kate is now looking into becoming a PRINCE2 trainer so that she can use her skills as a trainer to offer this course as part of QKL’s management suite of qualifications.

PRINCE2 (Projects IN Controlled Environments) is a process-based method for effective project management.

PRINCE2 is a de facto standard used extensively by the UK Government and is widely recognised and used in the private sector, both in the UK and internationally.

Kate decided to enrol herself on this 'challenging' qualification to build on her project management experience as Managing Director at QKL Ltd. Kate said ' It wqas a brillaint experience and has helped enormously in enabling me to manage some of the new projects we are working on at QKL.

The week was quite gruelling in terms of study, homework and exams - but after the week finished I really missed it!'

Kate is keen to get the next stage underway as she feels that this qualification is one that many managers in a wide range of industries would find useful when steering a safe course through the stormy waters ahead.
